It's like theirs a cosmic weighting scales, for every good thing you get it has to be balanced with some crap. Is it giving up if you just take it?

Vagina dentata

Ever see that movie teeth? I only watched it recently, it was very funny. Its makes a reference to this:

Vagina dentata is Latin for toothed vagina. Various cultures have folk tales about women with toothed vaginas, frequently told as cautionary tales warning of the dangers of sex with strange women and to discourage the act of rape.

The concept is also of importance in classical psychoanalysis, where it is held to relate to the unconscious fears associated with castration anxiety.

Zoo

I went to Dublin Zoo yesterday, it was really fun. They have a snow leopard which was amazing. Their is a baby orangutan who was great fun. All the animals looked healthy and happy, have to say i was impressed with the place.

Dentist

I went to the dentist today to get a chipped tooth looked at. I haven't been to the dentist in years, in fact; when i went to the medical center to book an appointment, the place i last went to the dentist, i was told they only do dental care for children. :-s

Anyway i sat down in the infamous seat and she looked at the tooth, at which point i was expecting to be told that it needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. Instead i was injected with a local anesthetic and asked to return to the waiting room until my face was numb. After a few minutes i was brought back into the surgery and my tooth was fixed. It was a little weird having screw drivers and x ray machines in my mouth but all in all the procedure was fine.
All i was thinking about during this was how much all this was going to cost, luckily it was only €150, much less than i was anticipating.

And that was my day out in the dentist :-)

Wireless Broadband

I don't know why it's human nature to hold back new technologies, wireless broadband is such an amazing invention. It allows for such amazing speeds of data transfer with absolutely no wires. I dint know why its being held back with download allowances. The best package you can get at the moment is a 15 giga byte limit, if you watch a lot of movies and TV online like i do that goes pretty quick. The sickest part is what they charge for going over your limit, its 2 cent per mb, that's €20 per gig byte! I refuse to believe that i can use 15 gigs for $20 a month but if i use one extra gig it costs $20?!
Just another example of extortion.
